IRON THUNDER CYCLES

There's a new motorcycle store in Raleigh, NC called Iron Thunder Cycles, LLC that you just have to fit into your travel plans for a visit when you are in Raleigh, NC.

I don't know how far back history needs to go, but Bryan's mother says that Bryan never really played with toys at Christmas. He took them apart in fascination of how they were mad and what made them work. Thanks to Bryan's father, who encouraged this behavior, his mother had to watch as he disassembled everything for the rest of his childhood.

As a teenager, Bryan built hotrods. In the 82nd Airborne, he was a fabricator/machinist for the 618th Engineer Company. In the civilian world, he was an auto mechanic. Bryan's ability to master the machine has been his God given talent since birth!

That's also how he met his wife. She was a franchise trainer. Broken car, handsome mechanic...fixed car, stopped heart! His mechanical ability and her business experience would also be a match made in heaven.

Bryan would fix bikes at night and on the weekends in his garage. Their home soon had people stopping in to see if Bryan would help with their bike. They were referred from a friend of a guy who rode with their brother last week. The word was out about Bryan's ability! People that Bryan had never met before were knocking on the door. When relaxing at home became an impossible task, they decided to see what it would take to start their own business!

Having every tool known to man, they needed a way to take the service on the road. They purchased and old CP&L work-body truck and started the proprietorship, Hagan's Mobile Cycle Service. Bryan soon decided he needed a larger truck, with an enclosed workshop in the back. He went on e-Bay, (his wife's addiction), to locate an enclosed service truck.

That's when he stumbled upon a complete Harley shop in California up for auction. He thought about it for a day and made a phone call that would change his life. Four hours later, at 3:00am, he woke up his wife to show her the shop he would soon own! The next day at lunch, they hit the Buy It Now button and bought the entire contents of Iron Thunder Cycles!

Her franchise experience and his confidence in his ability made light of the serious step they were taking. With the amazing support of their friends (and everyone they told!) they started IRON THUNDER CYCLES, LLC! They are an owner-operated business capable of anything from oil changes to overhauls! Harley's, Metric Cruisers, Custom Bikes…if you ride, they're here for you!

You can find IRON THUNDER CYCLES, LLC at 5540 Atlantic Springs Road at the intersection with Spring Forest Road across from the Carmike Cinema. You don't need an appointment with Bryan and Stacy - stop in and see them or call (919) 855-8508. BTW, they are open in the evening too!
